Cell phone batteries What are my options
Cell phone batteries What are my options Cell Phone Batteries: What are my options? There are a number of mobile phones, video camera / camcorder and digital camera batteries with different capacities and battery chemistry. He explains what are the differences for each battery chemistry and try to clarify the language used in the labeling of batteries for mobile phones. There have been several changes in battery technology and below, briefly explain each battery chemistry of the characteristics, advantages and disadvantages and their applications for mobile phones today. "memory effect" in memory of the cells affect refers to the need for certain batteries to "services" regularly discharging the battery completely before recharging. Ni-Cad batteries are the main types of battery chemistry that requires this cycling and new types of batteries such as Li-Ion and NiMH do not suffer from memory effect. Votes battery capacity rating of a battery refers to the ability to load or current that can be placed on a particular type of battery. The battery capacity is usually measured in milliampres (MAH) Ni-Cad (Nickel Cadmium) batteries in the past, most rechargeable batteries used in portable devices such as mobile phones, camcorders and cordless phones use nickel cadmium battery, as chemistry major. Although this type of battery has drawbacks, such as the "memory effect" is still one of the most commonly used battery in cordless phones, CD players, radios and other portable devices because of its low cost-per-cycle battery. The use of these batteries in mobile phones today is rare because of its effect on memory problems and disadvantages. Despite these obvious drawbacks, but also has environmental implications, because the metals used to manufacture these batteries, and are increasingly replaced by nickel metal batteries. NiMH (nickel metal) batteries, NiMH batteries are increasingly one of the chemical drums today mainly because they do not suffer from memory effect like NiCad batteries do. Because of this advantage is mainly used for portable computers and mobile phones, and sometimes also as a source of a battery of video cameras and digital cameras. This is an important and main feature that makes NiMH batteries attractive as consumers are not burdened by the need to "service" by the performance of their batteries completely before recharging. They also have a greater ability to assess compliance with Ni-Cad (approx 30% more), and alkaline batteries, but its main disadvantage is that these batteries self-discharge over a short period of time is not suitable for conservation. Li-Ion (Li-Ion) Batteries These batteries are quite new on the market and have the lowest compared to the Average discharge Ni-Cad and NiMH batteries. They do not suffer from memory effect and is one of the most common type of batteries used in mobile phones today. They have an excellent power to weight makes them very attractive for portable devices such as mobile phones, camcorders and digital cameras. All the phones we offer are the Li-ion batteries, which are higher compared to other battery alteatives. Li-Polymer This is relatively new and we're starting to see more of these batteries in mobile phones today. They are considered the best chemistry of the battery for mobile devices today because of its high capacity and low weight. Li-Polymer batteries do not suffer from "memory loss".
